When it comes to sports one name always comes to mind and no it’s not currently coopers pick but rather ESPN the most recognized name in the sports information and news world. The reason why the entertainment sports programming network has grown to be so large is in part thanks to their parent company the Walt Disney Corporation who has funded them the capital needed to expand beyond a simple sports news show to one of the most popular and famous names in the world.

When it comes to television shows that really entertain you Sportscenter leads the pack with famous news anchors such as Stuart Scott, Boomer also known as Chris Berman, famous baseball analysts Peter Gammons, and Rich Eisner have all led the way to grow the sports show into a company that owned a restaurant ala the “ESPN Zone” (not currently open), espn the magazine, pardon the interuption, and deals with major sports leagues such as the NBA, NCAA Bowl game specials, NFL primetime games, and other amazing sports events that are high ticket items that the network covers.
